May 18th Friday, walk up to the tallest peak in England,
Scafell Pike. I did the walk with my dad and brother Rob, much appreciation for letting me sleep over the night before and for their hospitality.
The walk started at 08.57 GMT at Seathwaite and took us till 12.40 to get to the summit and until 15.50 to get back to the starting point. The summit is 978 metres (3,209 ft) and it was fairly cold, just a few degrees over, if that.
